Has NECO GCE Results Been Released?

Yes, NECO (National Examinations Council) has released the results for the 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination External also known as NECO GCE which was conducted from November 14 to December 14, 2024. Out of 84,799 students who took the 2024 NECO SSCE External exam, 57,114 students (67.35%) passed with at least five credits including English and Mathematics. The 2024 Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) conducted in six West African countries and one country in the middle east.

Difference Between NECO and NECO GCE

The NECO Senior School Certificate Examination has two types. The first type is SSCE Internal (Normal NECO). It is for students who are in SS3 (their final year of secondary school). The second type is SSCE External (NECO GCE). It is for people who are not currently students in any school.

How To Check 2024 NECO GCE Results

1. Visit the NECO result website: https://results.neco.gov.ng/
2. Select 2024 as your exam year
3. Choose “SSCE EXTERNAL (NOV/DEC)” as your exam type
4. Enter your Token Number
5. Enter your Registration Number
6. Click “Check Result” to see your scores
