How To Check NECO GCE Results 2023/2024

NECO has formally announced the release of GCE results for November/December candidates, and in today’s “O’level Toolkit,” we’ll provide guidance on how to access your results.

In 2023, the NECO examination yielded a 67.35% success rate, with students achieving five credits and above, including English Language and Mathematics. The Registrar reported that out of 74,342 candidates who participated in the exam across 29 subjects, 2.28% were male and 47.71% were female. Among them, 50,066 candidates, equivalent to 67.35%, obtained five credits or more, including English Language and Mathematics. Additionally, 62,530 candidates, accounting for 84.11%, secured five credits or more regardless of English Language and Mathematics.

How To Check NECO GCE Result?

1. Using a suitable browser, visit https://results.neco.gov.ng/
2. Select the appropriate ‘Examination Year‘ which in this case is ‘2023’
3. Next, select ‘SSCE External’ as examination type
4. Enter your Token Number and registration number in the correct field.
5. Finally, hit the ‘Check Result’ button to access your result.

After clicking on the SUBMIT button, you will be taken to your result page.

NOTE : NECO Token can be used to check a candidate result once (and for five times) i.e. you cannot use another token to check the same result again. Any further checks of that same result would require the use of NECO E-Verify result verification Portal to verify/confirm such result.
