Nigerian Universities That Offer Admission Without Jamb In 2025
Many students who want to study at Nigerian universities worry about getting good scores in their JAMB UTME exam. This is a common problem for secondary school students.
If you didn’t score high marks in your JAMB exam, don’t worry! You still have chances to get university admission. Some universities in Nigeria accept students with low JAMB scores or even without JAMB results.
In 2025, four Nigerian universities are offering alternative admission paths. These schools allow you to enroll and earn your degree without needing high JAMB scores.
Below are four universities that offer admission to candidates with or without JAMB in 2025
National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN)
NOUN offers admission without JAMB UTME scores. As Nigeria’s largest open university, it uses a distance learning system. Students can apply directly to NOUN at any time of the year. The university offers certificate, diploma, degree, and postgraduate programs in many fields.
Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo
This private university accepts students through direct entry without JAMB. Students with good O’level results can apply directly. Babcock also runs a Foundation/JUPEB program that allows students to enter 200 level after completion.
Madonna University, Okija
Madonna accepts students with low JAMB scores or no JAMB through its pre-degree and diploma programs. After completing these programs successfully, students can move into degree programs.
Igbinedion University, Okada
This private university admits students directly through its Foundation program. Students who complete the Foundation year with good grades can continue to 100 level without JAMB.
Bowen University, Iwo
Bowen offers a Pre-Degree Science program for students with low JAMB scores. Successful completion qualifies students for admission into 100 level programs.
Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos
This university runs a Foundation program that serves as an alternative path to admission. Students who complete this program can enter degree courses without JAMB.
Benson Idahosa University, Benin City
BIU accepts students through its Foundation and JUPEB programs. These programs prepare students for university education and provide direct entry into degree programs.
Redeemer’s University, Ede
Redeemer’s offers a Pre-Degree program for students who did not meet JAMB cut-off marks. After successful completion, students can join regular degree programs.
