This occurs when most students at a particular school get the same grade, it’s called a withheld result. WAEC finds this suspicious and will look into it more.
If the investigation shows that the students cheated, their results will be seized. If not, their results will be released.
A held result is a little bit similar to the withheld one. It usually happens when there’s a a written remark from the invigilator about cheating or other exam misbehavior on a student’s answer booklet.
It’s not very likely the results will be given out, and the way it happens is almost the same as with a withheld result.
An outstanding result means that a student’s grade for certain subjects isn’t finished yet. This can happen if things like an extra answer sheet aren’t attached correctly or other reasons.
These grades usually come out after fixing the problems with the marks.
‘No Result For This Candidate in the Specified Year‘ is a term is usually shown to candidates who took their exams in special centres.
The chances for release are very small in this case.
