The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the official timetable for the 2024 WASSCE Second Series (GCE). The exam will begin on October 25th and conclude on December 13th. For detailed information on exam dates, subjects, and times, please see complete timetable below.

To ensure comprehensive preparation, candidates are advised to carefully review the official timetable, which outlines specific dates, subjects, and examination times.

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has introduced a significant change to the 2024 WASSCE GCE. Objective papers will be administered primarily through Computer-Based Testing (CBT). While essay and practical tests will still be conducted in a traditional paper-and-pencil format, candidates will receive questions electronically. This approach aims to modernize the examination process while maintaining its integrity.

Notes

1. Difference in Time on Question Paper and Timetable

Where the duration indicated on the question paper differs from that on the timetable, the one on the question paper should be
followed.

2. Question Papers to be Given Out in Advance of the Dates They Are to be Taken

(1) Visual Art 3
Paper 3A – Instructions will be given to supervisors two weeks before the paper is due to be taken.
Paper 3B – Question papers will be given to candidates two weeks before the paper is due to be taken.

3. Extra Time for Candidates with Special Needs
Candidates with Special Needs should be allowed one and half times the time allotted to other candidates.
